| Many people consider this play the founder of all the beach entertainments. Playable by everybody, even the more conservative bathing attendants allow it. Game of bowls, on the beach, is played as it comes, according to rules invented by the players, using spheres and kitties of different weight and circumference. Official rules don’t exist. The same Federazione Italiana Bocce did not provide to codify the activity on the beach. The general rule is that to assign, at every round, one point (or two, or three) to the team or to the player who has put one, two or three bowls closer to the kitty. If the bowls near to the kitty are four the score double. Usually the score reachs 21 points. But, as we said, you can arrange by yourself the rules! |
