| Badminton is a fast sport, amusing, physically binding. The cork little ball and feathers, darts over the 200 Km/h to slow then down progressively to the ground. It is essential quick eye, intuition, agility, reflexes and a great physical form to make movements, jumps, crushes, recovers. On the beach badminton represents an excellent alternative to the beach tennis: it is less violent and involves a greater concentration and quick reflexes. It has however a limit: it is a sport that require_onces a nearly absolute lack of wind. This is not always a pleasant condition to the swimmers. Dimensions of the field: metres 13*6 -. High of the net: mt. 1,50 from ground Players: 2 for the individual and 4 for the double Play: with poles and little ball (better if of plastic). The field is divided into areas that delimit the zones of the service and that for the double; attack phases (smash, short balls ) and defence phases ( very high “lobs”). Matches to the better than 3 sets. Every set finishes once reached the 15 points (11 for the females), allotted when the badmintons touches the ground (with change of ball as in the volley). |
